Smith and Wesson locks?

We’ll I’m glad this came up. I missed the memo quite literally. I was confused when I picked up my last two purchases but I adopted the don’t ask don’t tell, fight club rule…

I picked up a toy Friday and brought a bore lock with me just in case they forced me to use/buy one. They didn't require it, instead, they took the cable lock and wrapped it around the box handle a few times, and locked it.

Strangely enough, I had a bore lock because when I got my Glock 19 maybe 13 years ago, it came with one. I almost threw it away a few times. After reading some reviews about some GS requiring the bore lock and making you buy one before they released the new toys, I found all the pieces that I figured were very lost.

I never thought about this until now but yeah, my last two purchases didnt require a bore lock. I hasn't realized something changed.

Ask how many here have had to have a bore lock in the last 4 months or so.

Not in the last 4 years or so. Not since the 2013 O'Malley Follies.

A lot of it may ride on whether the LGS guys have seen you before, I suspect, though I don't plan to ever question their (lack of) action on the subject.
