“He should shoot it and learn with it. It's unacceptable to say you couldn't defend your family member because you "Couldn't find the front sight because it wasn't glowing". But that's just me”

Well Blaster, At 62 and shooting handguns since the 1970’s I’m sure I could take a defensive shot at short distance without a glowing front sight but that’s not the issue. This Sig P365 is the 21st handgun purchase and none of the others with tridium have failed. That is the issue of my post.

The front sight failure has been ongoing since the release of the P365 and should have been resolved by now. That is the issue Blaster.

    Good luck

It will never be in NY, I assure you. Did my time there in past lives, never again! NJ or CT for that matter too, as long as I can help it.. lol
Me too. After being based in Newark, McGuire, NYC, and Groton, we don't go anywhere North of Bucks County PA anymore. When the family leaves there, hopefully we will be in FL waiting for them.

I know I've expressed concerns about sweating on my guns...a lot. Here's why:

An optic probably would have shielded the sights...that's kinda like the old joke about a $300 TV blowing to save a $0.30 fuse, right?

It's a Vedder...which USED to have the Blaster seal of approval :rolleye12. That damn clip typically fights me when I TRY to take it off, and has even cut me before. :sad20:
    Looks like vedder

Art, what holster is that? How do you carry?

    Yes, what holster is that?

Looks like a vedder light tuck

Correct, Vedder Light Tuck. That style seems to work the best for me, usually around 4:00. Aside from being previously (:tap:) Blaster approved, what really sets the Vedder apart for me is the sweat guard going all the way up to the end of the slide. Obviously, that's pretty important to my moist body :o. A lot of the other brands leave the last little bit of slide exposed. I guess that might be done for optic clearance, but keeping my grossness off of the metal parts is a priority for me.

    What makes you moist?

Just a 365XL vanilla with xray irons. Just enough for a good grip and manipulation without being too much.

I like Vedder because it is a clean looking holster with good retention screws. Don't need too much flare. My go to range holsters.
