    Make sure the draw length of the bow is correct for you. It seems like it's a small bow, so be careful. If the draw length is too small, you will damage the bow if you over-draw it.

    You have to get fitted or use the 2.5 method. That's where you put out your arms (like you're being hung on a cross)and have someone measure the length. Don't stretch, just hold out your arms. Measure from the tip of each middle finger. After you have that measurement, you divide the number by 2.5. This is your draw length.

    An overall measurement of 70 inches, divided by 2.5 will give you a 28 inch draw.

    Well, the seller ended up selling to someone else before they got the draw length back to me, so I ended up getting an older Jennings bow with arrows and stuff. I remember from my younger days that I have a 30" draw, which this one is set at, too.
