    Got to pick up my new rifle today. This was built by Mark Gordon at SAC with the following specs;

    SAC Alpha 11 action with 20 MOA base with fluted bolt
    Lower Bolt Clearance Modification
    Bartlein Med Palma 1-8" twist finished at 27", Fluted
    Huber Concept trigger
    Ashbury Mod O stock
    Atlas Bi-Pod
    Seekins 34mm Rings
    Scope: Steiner 5x-25x MSR (waiting for this)

    Now I need to find a place to get it sighted in before the NHRPC match next month.

    Wow, that's a beautiful rifle. If it shoots half as good as it looks, you are gonna be a happy camper.

    Mark is building me a rifle as well. It is a 260 Rem. He has had it for 5 months now. Spoke tk him a few weeks ago and it should be ready in January. SAC is top notch!

    Finally got my scope (Steiner MSR 5x25) this last Monday and was down at Delmarva on Tuesday. The gun was worth the wait and the factory ammo shoots good. I'm not sure how to interpret the 2735 fps, seems slow to me for a 27" barrel. My reloads of h4350 at 42.5 grns were slower than factory but the accuracy is impressive. Not that I need barrel burner speed but I would like get around 2850 fps. I will chrono some loads at 43 grains and see what that gives.me.
