When I first wanted a gun, I had to work very hard convincing my wife, but the crime here eventually worked; now I have many guns and she's all for 'em.

When I first mentioned to my wife I wanted to move to PA, she was very hesitant and didn't want to; I tried explaining about no tax on retirement pay, lower cost of living, gun laws, freedoms, etc. without much effect; now, she's bitching about Maryland more than I am and we're actively planning our move.

Thanks, Maryland, for making things easier for me :innocent0

We need to make this a big issue.

Who would want to be on record opposing mandatory minimum sentencing for violent offenders with no good time credit come 2014?

Bring up victims of those types of offenders, like the JHU researcher stabbed to death in Charles Village and the elderly black fisherman beaten to death by those neo-nazis in Ft. Armistead park. Recent cases and where real common sense sentencing laws would've made sure those victims were alive today.

This is why amendment votes matter.
