I picked up a Savage model 1907 chamois pocket or purse holster made between 1914-1918. These were considered fragile back in the day due to the soft shammy material on the outside and felt on the inside, they were very vulnerable to moths and overall deteriorations thus very few appear today. These are considered to be rare, the only one I've seen other than this one is the example in the "Savage Pistol" book by Bailey Brower.

That is really amazing…my 1907 was French Army issue, but connecting up to that purse holster would be cool as heck

Very nice. I have a 1917 .380 with this high tech holster. Made in 1920.
