Sports Afield 30 Gun Safe listed at $363.32

A good friend of mine sent me this pic. Not all clubs have them. Online shows a different price. Looks good for the price...

That's a heck of a price on that - if it's roughly the same one Home Depot sells, it's currently running almost $800.

Of course the "30+ gun safe" is a bit of a stretch. My gun safe is substantially larger and it's getting pretty full with what I have.

Maybe 30 Ruger SP 101s with 2-1/2 inch barrels.

Not 30 rifles. Which is how most safes are sold. Long gun storage.

Misleading. Good that they provide a picture.

PS: That thing looks to be 12 inches deep. A tad unstable. Like a domino. Don't let kids near it.

I found this on the Sam's Club website - only 19" deep.
    • Assorted colors
    • Exterior Dimensions: 56"H x 28"W x 19"D
    • Interior Dimensions: 53.15"H x 24.84"”W x 12.93"D
    • Product Weight: 357 lbs.
    • Water-Rating: 2' for 7 days
    • Fire-Rating: 75 minutes @ 1400°F

For the sake of comparison, mine is:

    72"H x 30"W X 28"D

Mine is also 900 lbs empty.

The issue I've always had with my long gun storage is that if I want it to be even remotely accessible, it has to be in the first two rows, and I don't even keep my ARs in there - they take up too much space. I have those in a separate locker in another part of the house.

I know. I dont even think you can fit 20 cricket rifles in there. SMH
