Will PVC pipe work, or must it be steel?

    Asking for a friend.
If you want it to work more than a couple times, steel. If you want to turn $30 into a couple hundred, pvc...although abs is more tactical, scarier blacker, and shock resistant. Plus you don't have to prime it before cementing it.

Oh, and my friend also wants to know if there are approximate lengths for the pipes.

    For educational purposes.

If the pipes are too short...do they come under the NFA? I'd hate to see a friend being charged with a NFA violation for having PVC or iron pipe shorter than allowed.

*****Just put on a muzzle brake, flash hider, or if you have a spare NFA compliant Supressor use that! Over 16 inches, right? (barrel length, not me... If I were over 16", I'd do Porn as a vocation as opposed to just the hobby it is for me now... :innocent0

Any more info on the terms of the "buy back better"? Limits, 3d prints, accepting receivers? Or just wait until the conference?

If you go on the RCPD webpage there is information ahead of the presser.
It looks like they won't accept anything that's not fully assembled into a firing configuration and they have unlimited discretion on what they'll consider to be a "firearm", so they're not going to accept any receivers in all likelihood even though they're just as much a "firearm" as one that's fully assembled. I guess this means receivers aren't firearms after all, someone should alert mdsp.

So, if one had a Polymer80, a Ghost Gun!, that's never worked right even after numerous extractor/ejector mods, one could remove the barrel, trigger, and other good parts and turn in the nasty piece of plastic?

    Hmmm.
    Get it serialized first.

All I can say is...see you all there! I have literally at least a dozen junkers that still function that I sat on for a year now exactly for this situation.

May I turn in more than one firearm?

Yes, you may turn in several firearms, however, we reserve the right to limit the number of gift cards given to an individual, regardless of the number of weapons surrendered.
