The CA DOJ attorneys can resign and look for another job if they truly disagree with what the state wants them to do. By staying they're either too gutless to stand for what they believe or aren't good enough to work for an outside law firm. Some just like being a government employee with the more or less regular hours and benefits rather than working for a living.

In the federal government DOJ...many of the Assistant US Attorneys are women with children and need regular hours they wouldn't get working on the outside. The younger men are trying to get experience before moving to the outside where the money is bigger.

    Come on man!

And CA DOJ attorneys have no women with children (or dads with children) and need regular hours they wouldn't get get working on the outside?

    LOL. I've worked with them.

Same argument as cops enforcing unconstitutional laws as attorneys defending the same; tough to object if your family suffers.

    Welcome to the Banna Republic.

None of this would happen if the Leg and GOV followed the constitution rather than their political and personal preferences.

So now the inevitable appeal, stay, overturn, and, someday, appeal to SCOTUS. So probably no relief for Californians for a couple of years, at least.

He can eat a super sized bag of dicks.
As the AG of CA DOJ he's sworn to uphold the Constitution. Yet he does all he can to subvert the constitution.

Benitez will prevail. I'm pisses that it takes more time. This ammo chit is recent. But the AWB and mag limits goes back decades.

Decades ago a friends brother who had a Galil passed away. No way for my friend to transfer legally to himself as executor; so he had to sell it. HTF to recoup that decades later.

The 2A has been steamrollered in CA for at least 30 years. Benitez deserves sainthood.

The Ninth Circuit has stayed Judge Benitez's injunction in a two to one ruling by a three judge panel.
