I'm not being a smart ass when I say I did a big addition and reframed my 2k Sq ft house myself. If you are able it's not so bad.
This is 3k addition, 2k renovation.

I'm in construction and ive done most of the work bringing the house out of the ground myself. I know i can frame it, but there comes a point when the added time from doing it myself cuts into savings. Hiring a good crew to get it up and weather tight will save me months, which also allows me to work more to pay for it, spend time with my family and work on other aspects of the project all which will accellerate it and add to my sanity.
