Sorry I am so far away, I am sure my buddy would let you guys come and shoot if you lived close by! We are working on setting up a 100 yard range soon, but are going to have to haul in some dirt to do a proper backstop. The property has a creek bed with a high hill on the other side for the backstop for the pistol range, but it's only about 50 yards wide at that point. It's about 150 yards long with woods, then a train track in the back. So we need to be safe there.

I shot this group at 50 yards today with Tula FMJ from my Yugo M59/66A1 SKS. I have only shot it a couple times so I am sure it's capable of even better groups once I get used to it. It does shoot better than my Chinese SKS after all...

A couple times the trigger wasn't resetting. Kind of needed to wiggle the trigger a bit, then it would "click". I'll be looking into that tonight.... It was unissued when I got it.

I had a great trip to the range with some C$R rifles this afternoon and also to try out some recent purchases. All of these are at 100 yards.

First off one of my 91/30's.

One of my K31's (Yellowsled may recognize this one.) This is also one of my favorite paper punchers.

I added my second M1 carbine ('44 Inland) to my collection this weekend and I'm very happy with its performance.

And finally I went into see Lou to look at his Nah Meel G-locks to give them another shot. I ended up not getting a plastic pistol but came home with a Chinese police marked SKS. My first spike sks (technically not C$R.)

You have some good shooting rifles there Mac, love the M1 and unique SKS. Is that a 5 round mag in the M1 carbine? Where did you find that?

Retafshooter, I have a 91/30 I mounted a scout scope on like that (the proper way, taking the whole base off), pretty fun to shoot and was very cheap to do, and can still return the rifle back to stock if I want...

Toolness, it is a 10 round magazine. Those are pretty easy to find.
