Quick question - 30 day wait

Currently I have my Designated Collectors application in the mail. Now my question is this in case it doesn't get approved in time.

On Thursday I purchased 2 handguns from Thunderstick Enterprises. Both had to be ordered. Now I know that they will need to be transferred to an FFL in Maryland, and that has been setup.

My question pertains to this. Since I bought 2 at the same time, must I wait 30 days for each firearm to be processed? Or can I pick up both at the same time, but must wait 60 consecutive days before purchasing my next regulated item?

Reason I'm asking is that I was under the impression that I can get both at the same time, but would have to wait the 60 consecutive days before my next purchase.

I think your right you can get them both but you might only have to Waite 30 days before your next purchase .

If your collectors letter doesn't arrive, you can pick up both at the same time, but you must wait 60 days for the next regulated purchase. If your collectors letter arrives, you can pick them both up and then buy more whenever you want...

That's what I thought and what I mentioned to the FFL. He did say he would look into that.

But I'm hoping my collector's license comes in before then to make everything so much easier.

I thought you just had to be approved, not actually have the approval letter. I'd give MSP a call and see if you've been approved. As long as you're in the MSP database, you should be ok.

What he said. If you are not approved in time you can get the "package deal" and then you have to wait 60 days until your next purchase.

True. But it's not always possible to call and find out...

Pickup same time but have to wait 60 days for next purchase. BTW I got the approval for collector status emailed to me by Cpl. Cusimano like a month ago but I still haven't received the letter.

As mentioned a bit back, as long as the Good Corporal has given you the OK to start buying as a collector, you're good to go. The letter is more of a formality, and they get sent out as time allows.
