Interesting, but I'm trying my best to think of why I would ever need this...
Recently I began running short on ammo and had to fall back on m855. I ordered up a bunch of 77gr good stuff and wanted to switch over to keep the mags topped off with the better ammo. This would've saved time instead of using the rear of a case to strip them out.

Service members shipping in or out of theaters, comes to mind.
Good point, but I'm 45 years past the expiration date on stuff like that.

I could see that, but it's a bummer to have to do that. Methinks you need more mags, my friend.

Lol. I wasn't including you in my comment. Just tossing out a possible necessity.

    haha true true.
step 1- "I need some mags for all this extra ammo"

step 2-"i need some more ammo to fill these extra mags"

    step 3- *repeat*

Exactly. Why do people unload mags? What a waste of time. Besides everyone knows the fastest way to unload one is to shoot them out

Normally, the only ones I unload are my 10 rounders. I might still have my hunting ammo in them and need them emptied for a range trip to sight in a new gun or something like that. Other than that, not very often.
