Question about the MD approved list & PSA Jakl

I found a thread on here from 2018 saying the firearms list isn't "law", 100% correct, or "concrete". I really want to get one of the new PSA Jakls in .300 blackout. It's obviously not a copycat. Can an ffl determine that? Or is there a way to submit it to MD for approval?

If you are referring to the pistol it needs to be on the handgun roster. If it’s a rifle you just need to check the deadly sins for a copy cat.

You are going to have to get just the upper and put it on your own pistol lower or wait for it to get on the roster. They don't sell a rifle version.

I know this is an old thread...but now that they make a rifle version would this be legal in MD?

If you can build it from a standard AR lower, then I believe you could build it into a braced pistol.

And then for a rifle it's the three forbidden features rule: can't have any two of folding stock, grenade launcher, or flash suppressor;
