Private ranges over 1000 yards?

A friend of mine has mastered his 6.5 CM out to 500 yards and is now searching for a range in the 1000 yard+ distance. He wants to join a place with one. Is there any such thing in the central MD/southern PA area?

No.

In PA, there's Mifflin and Williamsport (the original 1000yd benchrest range). Delaware has Bridgeville. There is Quantico in VA. Peacemaker in WV.

Thunder valley. Awesome folks. Used to go every spring with some former coworkers for a few days.

A group of us go to BangSteel every spring. They have 2165 yards and are near Bland, VA.

Definitely should go. It is a beautiful place and it is owned by very good people.
