Primers pin holing

Rifle is an AR10 that I think is the problem. Rounds are hornady 6.5 creedmoor. I’ve shot a bunch of these rounds (55-65) through another gun and pretty sure it never happened. At least I can’t find any brass to say it did. It’s a pin hole in the primer at firing pin impact point. But it really hammered the firing pin. Loaded the bolt to where it stopped shooting. So I broke the bolt down and figured the symptom but not the cause.

firing pin protrusion gauge to start.

^^^ measure the protrusion and see if it's in spec..

Get a magnifying glass and look at the tip of the firing pin to see if there is a rough spot or small protrusion.

Need a small firing pin bolt for 6.5 I was told.

This may be it.
Changed out 308 with a 6.5 I had and so far no issues. I’ll check out the other bolt and pin when I get back. Thanks
