New in Box Pre Ban Colt AR15A2 HBAR Sporter! This rifle sat on a shelf for the last 20+ years, still has the wick in the barrel. Great MD Legal rifle. ***SOLD***

That's really nice, especially for those of us who love classic A1/A2 type uppers. Its actually almost too nice to shoot!

Interesting how they have the takedowns inverted (one goes one way the other the other way) every AR I have seen has had them pushing from the same side.

The early Colt AR15s do not have 2 pushpins. The front is actually a screw.

I thought the front pins on post-Fed ban rifles were screw type, prior to that they were push pins. Around the time of the Fed ban, they went to the screw together forward pin.

They also screwed around with the pin sizes. Both the forward takedown pin and the trigger group pins.

I have a few early SP1 and AR15A2 Rifles as well as Pre 86 Colt RR MG conversions. They all have the screw.

    Interesting.

    Did not know that.

I have a post-ban HBAR Sporter, that I converted to push pin.
