Hake's in Wrightsville, Trop, Shyda's and Richland Shooter pretty much have nothing for powder and primers. Very few powder but I guess it was all stuff no one likes and uses

Plenty of wads for us shotshell loaders but you get them anywhere

A guy could load a lotta .44 Magnum with all that Enforcer and Accurate No 9. Or .300 Blackout if that’s your thing.

Their inventory on the shelf looks a lot like what’s been in inventory at Natchez. Guess not enough folks out there shooting magnum revolvers.

Yeah, that's pretty much all I use H110 and Lil Gun for: hot 357 Magnum and 300AAC supers. And I haven't loaded a ton of either lately. I may run off a test batch of 147gr 300AAC supers with some H110, though... those cheapo Xtreme 147s are enticing for a blaster super load, even if the ballistics are a little suboptimal.

yes, And since I like milsurps and C&R, I went through those and saw crazy prices.
There was a wood stock 22 mosberg plinkster for $150 with a god aweful dirty (but not necessarily corroded) bore. They must have some sort of statistical info telling them to price high and sit on them for a few years looking for a sucker.

I saw but did not buy something new. 22LR CCI "clean" that was supposed to be clean burning for 22 suppressors. Was WAY more expensive than say minimags or SV is all I recall.

Those powders also work great in my .500 S&W magnum.

More like you should be looking for a second job if you plan to keep shooting the 50 BMG.

50 BMG is one of those calibers that I never intend to have - it's cool, but I see it more as a very expensive novelty. However, if I did, there's no way I'd even consider it unless I also wanted to reload for it, and it's one of the few things I've seen in the last year or so where components for reloading it have been steadily available because it is such a specialized cartridge.

Ditto. I'd probably only consider it if I either owned a very large property (100+ acres) with some long sight lines for a big range (500yds+), or I lived much further out west were BIG public land was available within a fairly short (an hour at most) drive so I could be going out on the regular to have fun with it.

Unless I am shooting THINGS with it, I just don't see the excitement shooting one at 100 or 200yds. And getting it out once or twice a year for long range shooting, meh. Not with the kind of $$$ you need to invest in it.

Hell, personally I don't think I'll likely ever get anything heavier than .308 unless it is for hunting (I do own .30-06 for a Garand and I plan to get a 1903 some day, but I'll always be reloading to Garand specs, so not full power .30-06 loads). Some day I'd like to get in to trying to do western elk hunts and maybe a moose hunt some day. So I'll likely dip my toes in to getting a 300wsm or similar. I'd like to get in to longer range shooting, but IMHO, my 6.5 Grendel and heavier weight .308 can get me to 1000. And if I am regularly doing it, I am probably better served with a 6.5CM or maybe that 300WSM than trying to trot out a 50BMG or 338LM once or twice a year when I do it. Even if it is a ton of fun.

Just up at Shyda's. They had 3 pounds of Alliant Power Pro 300-MP, of which I bought one pound. $35 + tax.
So, Shyda's has 2 pounds, as of 1/20/22.
Thought I'd never find it short of the Zombie Apocalypse.
