Same here. It set me back about 8-9 days. This tripped me up as well. I don't recall ever having the Member -4 version. I had to request a copy from the national archives.

As long as the word "HONORABLE" is legible, the applicant is good to go.I used a bad copy of pg4 and they accepted it.
If you are in VA a lot, as opposed to just passing through, it can be advantageous since it would provide you with the school zone exception. School zone exception applies if you have a permit issued by the state you are physically in at the time as opposed to a permit from another state that has reciprocity.Isn't there something about exceptions to be in Public School zones only for home state permit holders? (Could be totally wrong. But I thought there something to that effect)
I thought it was this thread but I cannot find it where I read someone posting that you can be prohibited from concealed carry because you've been arrested or had a protection order but not convicted of anything? Is that right?

What that saying is subject so currently but not in the past.Partially. A court ordered restraining order prohibits you, conviction or not
It’s not a prohibition on carry. It prohibits any possession
I wonder why they ask about the past.I’m not a lawyer, but if it’s expired you are no longer
“Subject To”

Finally got everything done and can fill out the form but I don't know when I was hired at my job but it was more than 10 years ago and they're only asking for five. So my question is do I need the exact date? Or am I perjuring myself if the year is wrong
Nope, yeah I know that they know. I was just trying to get it submitted last night.Your employer would be able to tell you - it’s in your personnel record.
(Thought everyone remembered that like their birthday. Remember mine after 40 years.)
So far, as far as has been posted, I don't believe anyone has had anyone called, reference, employer, none.Has anyone had your employer called or those of references?
Thanks!
No. They don't have the time nor personnel to do those investigations, given the flood of applications. It's more like buying a handgun with a 60 day wait.Has anyone had your employer called or those of references?
Thanks!
