The PM 63C Pistol RAK is a really unique semi auto pistol! It is imported from Poland w/ a 5.9" barrel and closed bolt action. Featuring a slide that juts out in front of the barrel, thus allowing the pistol to be cocked in a more traditional way. The receiver is crafted from machined steel on modernized CNC equipment for a higher degree of quality and consistency.

I had one submitted to the roster board and it's been approved. It should show up on the list as ready to go in August.

However, it should be noted that the remanufactured frame is a mixture of original steel mated to new aluminum. In the picture below, taken by Pioneer Arms, the black is an original frame machined down to remove full auto areas while the "in the white" part is aluminum. Originally (2019), this new made part was steel and the entire pistol was refinished in phosphate. The newest production examples ones are nicely blued (aluminum part black anodized) and supposedly more precisely machined, more reliable, and more durable than early reproduction units.

I have been in contact with a man who has put quite a few rounds through a new one he bought in May and he has been quite pleased. His is reliable and he has had none of the poor hardening issues so common in the early reproduction pistols that came in back in 2019.

Unless you are aware of what you are looking at, it's not readily apparent where old ends and new begins, as evidenced by this picture:

Where the original fired from an open slide, the remanufactured PM-63C uses an internal hammer to fire from a closed slide.
    Cocked:

    Fired:

A really nice feature is the fact that they are using original, chrome lined, military production barrels that were in new condition. They simply machined off the old serial number and reblued the barrel. Here, we see where the old serial number was removed:
