looks like after the prototyping is done that it could be done with thermoplastics to make it look a bit better and lighter. i like the concept for the inconspicuity when carrying it around and a quick deployment.

Wow... that's... horrible? I'm speechless from how stupid looking that thing is. Normally I'd give credit just for ingenuity, but someone needs to put down the Home Depot charge card. They should have saved the money they spent on their logo and flashy site and put it into developing something that didn't look like a floor jack with a trigger.

Wow, talk about solutions in search of problems..... Jeez.

I can only imagine the thought process that went into this platform.

Guy 1 - "Hey dude, I usually keep my shotgun secured with a cable lock, but is there a way we could make a lock INTO a gun? Or vice versa?"

Guy 2 - "Yeah! And it should look like a piece of scaffolding!"

Guy 1 - "Shit yeah it should! Oh and is there any way we could make it weigh at least twenty pounds?"

Guy 2 - "Twenty? Try thirty pal."

Guy 1 - "SWEEET! Well I'm going to throw this other gun in the dumpster and then put my head in a microwave for a while."

Guy 2 - "Remember to put it on 'popcorn.' That's how I get all of my best ideas."

Looks like the 12 gauge version of Red Jacket's "survival Mac-10" or whatever it was.

    ...this is NOT a compliment.

So you would have to rack the whole front quarter of that contraption to operate the pump? Your grip is going to be the inside of a locking sheet metal door. Interesting concept, but they need to go back to the drawing board.

I don't think there's any need to file a patent for that thing.

It'd be like trying to patent a toothache or bloody diareaha.

Plus someone already made a way cooler one:

UC-M21 aka: ARES FMG aka: That gun that kid had in "Robocop II"

Then Magpul made a cooler one called the FMG9:

All they forgot was the lock and making it the size of a dishwasher... ;)

This reminds me of something... oh yeah: http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=73484

And that's the strange thing. If you made a shotgun that unfolded like that it would be awesome. This thing is a beast and looks unwieldy
