Schoolhouse Earth lost a family member. Leroy, a favorite at the petting zoo, died at the age of 15. :sad20:

I have no doubt Leroy is now well taken care of by Mooseman. Hooli and the rest of us are heartbroken.

Schoolhouse Earth is a great place to visit and shop when you visit the Deep Creek area: http://www.schoolhouseearth.com/

    RIP Leroy!

    RIP Leroy!

I always loved seeing peoples reactions when they meet him for the first time. I first saw him about 5-6 years ago.

That sucks. My wife and I enjoyed feeding him when we were out there. Is that a normal lifespan of a goat, or was his shortened due to his neck?

Don't know if Leroy's challenges played a part. Life expectancy for goats is between fifteen and eighteen years so he was gettin' up there...
