That’s my point. The inaction from Frosh/MSP/Hogan goes beyond just being anti-gun - people may get injured/killed over this. All it takes is one “I know my rights” person and then a situation occurs where everyone loses.

I guess I could have worded my original post a little better.
Didn’t think of it this way but yup, very possible.

I hate to be the first to take the thread in a different direction but who was the holster maker someone posted in the last few days? Expensive but they looked well done.

    .

I use a Tenicor Certum holster for the Glock 48, pricey but well worth it. This holster can be worn for strong side carry OR appendix carry

I also carry a regular P365 9mm. Mainly I’ll throw it in a pocket with a Vedder Pocket Locker holster, but sometimes I’ll carry the p365 appendix or strong side if I need extremely deep concealment for some reason.

P365- Vedder Pocket Locker holster for pocket carry…..my p365 has a manual safety so throwing in a pocket is no biggie. I have a Tenicor Certum and a Vedder Lighttuck for regular carry on the p365

BELT: Blue Alpha Gear Hyrbid…..this is THE conceal carry belt, don’t buy anything else, seriously

I think this is the post you’re looking for.

NY throws temper tantrum after losing. I envision a bigger smackdown coming soon.

    https://www.governor.ny.gov/sites/d...ION1-CONCEALED_CARRY_IMPROVEMENT_ACT-BILL.pdf

    Summary:

    1) To get a license an in-person interview is required. Applicant needs to reveal names of everyone residing with him - spouse, children etc. Applicant needs to submit all his present and passed social media accounts. 4 character references are now a law.

    2) Sensitive places - govt buildings, public parks, playgrounds, libraries, zoos, any property of any educational institution, any school or children's program, any place serving alcohol, public transportation, public transportation facilities including stations and airports, entertainment venues, any protests or political gatherings, any place not displaying signs that allow carry, Times Square, places of worship. Penalty - class E felony.

    3) Central database of all licenses that will be checked monthly against arrest records, indictments, protection orders etc.

    4) Database of all ammunition purchases

    5) Storage in a vehicle when not in control of it (parked etc) - weapons must be unloaded and locked in a fire and impact resistant container. Lockable soft cases are not allowed anymore. Penalty - Class A misdemeanor.

    6) Background checks on ammunition purchases through the State Police. Another section creates a "background check fund" to finance this.

    7) 16-hr class for a pistol permit - required to be completed ONCE. If in possession of a permit already, will need to do the class prior to first renewal.

    8) Includes muzzleloaders in a definition of a "rifle" and "shotgun". So background checks, FFL transfers etc for muzzleloaders. No more buying them online.
Governor Hochul, how am I to unload my muzzle-loaded musket when storing it in my vehicle?

Dumb question. Do any of you think the decision was in small part due to the riots and defund the police and lax policies on crime by the left?

I think Thomas, knowing history as well as he does, is pissed about the historical deprivation of rights to blacks in particular. The 2A is one of the more egregious examples of a right blacks were routinely deprived of. I’m not sure it’s necessarily only the race aspect, but the idea that the government will try to deprive any group of people they deem second class citizens of an enumerated right. The republic only functions well, and the government stays in check, when all citizens can exercise their rights freely and as intended.

    That’s my take.

Yes Sir< I believe the same. The government or states was to protect or defend the people's Rights.
ALL of them, especially I think the oppressed.

EDIT....George Washington said, “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal.”

    And don’t forget

Lord Acton wrote to Bishop Creighton that the same moral standards should be applied to all men, political and religious leaders included, especially since “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely” (1887)

Everybody is angry and childish about everything these days. Yeah, I am sure that this is primarily virtue signaling. I am sure that the criminal in NYC that shot the mother pushing the baby stroller had a permit. Thankfully, there wont be any cash bail required for him and he will be right back out on the street. If they catch him. Cant be hard, they just need to check all the permit holders in NYC.

Is there any kind of motion that can be filed directly with the USSC, bypassing appeals that says “they are blatantly saying no to comply with the ruling”? Second, what are the chances NY ends up under some type of conservatorship (likely the wrong term given the situation), akin to Alabama when they thumbed their nose at voting rights laws?
Im a pretty calm guy, generally. I left NY because of these laws, among other things. Their ignorance and blatant disregard makes my blood pressure rise.
