Double-stack 1911 mags kinda pricey, and not available everywhere. It's nice that it takes STI mags, though.

I never trust Springfield to be honest on where their parts/guns come from so would not be at all surprised if all/part of the "prodigy" isn't made in Turkey in the same plant.

Doubt that. Tisas doesn't put MIM their 1911s like SA does. That being said, maybe if it's subcontracted and not Tisas branded they might. Don't know, Girsan maybe....
