Need Opinions

Today I decided I didn't like the mirror finish I had on my G19 so I went over to good ole Harbor Freight and picked up a blasting gun and some 80 grit glass bead media and did my slide. I was thinking about blasting the frame and Krylon FDE it. What do you think? Leave it alone or go to town? This is not my only gun (got plenty more), this is a project gun and I'm bored.

Why wouldn't you just have it coated instead?

Finish looks great to me, kinda different.

I'd tinker with a different gun.

Maybe try some re profiling and stippling of the poly lower instead? Would look really cool with that fancy slide; if you did it right.

Also consider mounting a micro reddot, like a DocIII, or JPoint. Could just upgrade to a laser Streamlight instead. Definitely upgrade to a match +threaded barrel. What else could you do... Engrave the top of the slide with something cool like "we the people..."

What else ... Could upgrade the trigger and drop in an oversized mag release.

On second thought, I'd leave as is and get another firearm to modify, Glock got this one right.
