    So, long story short; kid accidentally ran car into the garage. I already placed the insurance claim. They said once the ball gets rolling I need to find a contractor on my own. Unlike auto claims where they have a "network" of body shops/mechanics etc, they don't do that for home insurance claims. Any recs?

    Yeah, can drive home on Pennsylvania Ave/Rt4 and the beltway. Gets into the drive and THEN panics and forgets which is the gas and which is the brake...

    What's weird is the damage to the car is way less severe

    From what I see in the pics it looks like the studs supporting the right side of the door gave way; are pushed in. That framing needs fixing then the bricks IMO. @Threeband helped me before and may have some input, references.
