Has anyone fished here? Was thinking of taking the kid this weekend. Assuming the freshwater license?

Licenses are easy to obtain online and print out.

Is it still 16 years and older need licenses? That's how it was when I was young, but that was centuries ago.

It's 16 years old for a license. It's located in Charle's County, I think just North of Accokeek. 210/ 225 area? I used to use the range there, but I think they shut it down for some reason.

We normally fish at Ft. Washington Park, but all we get there are channel cats. I was hoping to get her some sunnies/ bluegill.

i have fished there quite a few times. And never caught anything. You can use small boats in the lake.
