Farmer or construction worker daughters sound like good options. The cop thing, that hasn't been such a winner for me. Starting in middle school. Dad/cop took me upstairs to show me his guns to scare me. I asked him where the good ones were hidden. I think that pissed him off worse than taking out his daughter.
