    OK,
I followed a simple formula of 1/4 aloe vera gel and 3/4 80% alcohol.
    Result is runny.
It will spread and it will evaporate, but sure is not as thick as the purel.

I"m now trying to figure out what I will use to dispense this stuff in an office. I'd like a non contact dispenser. I have a number of non contact soap dispensers and will try one of those. These are foaming things based on 1/5 hand soap and 4/5 water.

Anyone want to share their DIY hand sanitizer formula and dispense method?

Non-contact dispensers are nice, but contact dispensers aren't an issue since the hands don't touch the pump again after being cleaned. You see contact dispensers even in a medical setting for that reason.

Add mineral oil from your pharmacy to the consistency you want. It will also keep your hands from drying out.

Get a couple of 2oz spray bottles. That’s what we use for our McClintock hand sanitizer. Don’t miss the gooey stuff at all.

Yeah we just went with 2oz mist/spray bottles and a couple drops of lemon balm with 62% rubbing alcohol. Perk is you can spray down surfaces then.
