Then why are you here? Like my uncle Forrest used to say, "stupid is as stupid does"Your post history says otherwise. You all seem to be helping eachother just fine!
Rather than using your money to help one or a few poor people get a gun the money would be better spent by donating it to a gun rights organization that is actively filing lawsuits to help all the poor and other people get guns by removing the unconstitutional roadblocks.Just like the incessant whining about training, that you have to do anyway, to obtain a permit.
If you’re not going to file a complaint to the courts to contest it, support the poor that can’t afford the training, Then STFU.
Comment all you want, I’m done with it. Cry amongst yourselves. Move around and move on, like I did.
I’m on the rolls for donations to MSI. Ive always believed in the mission.Rather than using your money to help one or a few poor people get a gun the money would be better spent by donating it to a gun rights organization that is actively filing lawsuits to help all the poor and other people get guns by removing the unconstitutional roadblocks.
May I suggest Maryland Shall Issue!
Self Defense is a Civil Right
Maryland Shall Issue® (MSI) is an all-volunteer, non-partisan organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of gun owners' rights in Maryland. It seeks to educate the community about the right of self-protection, the safe handling of firearms, and the responsibility that goes with...www.marylandshallissue.org
But it is written in cursive!
I didn't mention the cost of firearms. That's the COST of getting the permits.I’m sure I’ve spent the same. Shit, my gun purchases alone during early days of the Great Covid Wars was probably that. Again, I understand. Hate it. I hate it too *thumbs up*
FTFY.
No. The requirement to prove that you are legal to vote is not an infringement. It is no different than showing ID to transfer a firearm. The ID establishes a name/face relationship so the powers that be knows the SSN maps to the correct person.
With that said, if the cost or the time required to obtain a photo ID is too cumbersome, then it could be an infringement. If that's the case, then the gov't needs to introduce ways that are easier and cheaper so photo ID is available to everyone of voting age.

meh, it does not matter, brother. He can afford it. Let them eat cake.I didn't mention the cost of firearms. That's the COST of getting the permits.
What carry permits do you have right now?
Even though it's an organization dedicated to - using your standards - whining and crying? Why, that organization just never STOPS whining and crying about things like fees, classes, double-layers of permits and other infringements. I'm surprised you're on board with such a bunch of crybabies.I’m on the rolls for donations to MSI. Ive always believed in the mission.
The d-heads who think training should be mandatory will support that too.So as we argue about the 16 hours thing....I'm hearing they want to bump it up to 32 hours but will likely compromise and only make it 24 hours. Renewal's probably 16?
Why not 4 weeks?
