    Patience

    Your rights are being violated….patience
Which rights? 2A rights have been consistently violated since 1934, at the federal level.

MSI and other national organizations have been fighting against bad laws for decades.

NYSRPA is a major victory, and it happened just last week. Dismantling the legal apparatus designed to repress your rights and control the peasants takes TIME.
Frosh should be arrested, so should any State Trooper enforcing unconstitutional laws
Call the FBI and US Marshals and make that demand. Go ahead- do it.
I get it, don’t rock the cart. But rocking the cart is what’s needed.
MSI has been rocking the cart and the boat for decades. Litigation is a long game.
MSI v Hogan is close to the end.
Call v Jones is close to the end.
Whalen v HPRB is close to the end.

One of these cases is likely to conclude with a court order that finally dismantles the MD statutes written in 1972.

Make known to the state police they will be personally sued into Bankruptcy….for starters if they deny citizens rights
That can’t happen until an individual application filed after 6/24 is formally disapproved for lack of G&S.

I personally don’t believe that will ever happen again.

Us out of staters are rooting for you guys…start kicking ass
Good! Have you joined and/or donated to MSI, 2AF, GOA?

Have you filed your handgun permit application yet?

Actually the date of the decision is 6/23 not 6/24. I submitted my app 2 hours after the decision was released

I have a personal stake in this - I currently own and keep a pistol that is supposed to go to my adult son, but he hasn't made a point to get his HQL, so I can't transfer it to him until he does that. I'm somewhat frustrated by that - he keeps saying he's going to get it done, but then never actually manages to get it done.
He should apply for his handgun permit.

Once that’s approved, the HQL is FREE.

That was definitely a fun read. Hopefully the circuit court not only applies the law properly, but sees fit to reverse and remand the case so that judgment can be entered faster.

How old is the gun? If you wait long enough for it to become a C&R (50 years from date of manufacture), transfer is HQL-exempt.

    Brief of Appellants filed today.

This is a long brief, but it incorporates Bruen ;)
    Very interesting reading.

United States: "Dear prospective militia candidates, please meet at the corner of Lexington and 5th street on 4 August outfitted with your own guns and you better already know how to use them, we got dirty deeds need done"

Maryland: "After you get your HQL or you'll face the stockades"

British: "We concur with Maryland"

I read this in the brief:

"When the Second Amendment’s plain text covers an individual’s conduct, the Constitution presumptively protects that conduct. The government must then justify its regulation by demonstrating that it is consistent with the Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation. Only then may a court conclude that the individual’s conduct falls outside the Second Amendment’s unqualified command."

Can someone explain what an unqualified command is? It seems to me, from what I am gathering is, that the command is unassailable or incontestable, but I am trying to understand how the word unqualified conveys that meaning in this context.

I have to say that, in my view, Lawyers are true wordsmiths.

"Shall not be infringed" is an unqualified command. There's no qualifiers.

"Shall not be infringed, unless the government has a reason to infringe" is a qualifier.
