This was the only thing i can find out there that something other than a personal opinion.

I would say that source is worse than a random personal opinion on the internet.

Someone taking the time to post a personal opinion would more than likely (hopefully) have formed it after having carried and fired the gun at least once.

Many purchases are made with no experience and no useful information, sometimes based on price, availability, and appearance. I'm sure there were some informed purchasers, but the fact that many are going by the previous three criteria I mentioned make this useless data.

What I carry may be a little larger and heavier than some prefer, but I have learned to dress around it. I haven't had alot of success trying out smaller framed guns at the range. I carry a CZ 75 D Compact PCR. Its a absolute pleasure to shoot and, most importantly, I'm very accurate and comfortable with it at the range.

Worthless thread. Very few things based solely on sales yields useful, fact-based info

Much here in this post .

For most of the history for firearms , the wisdom has been Dress Around the Gun . Still as valid a con concept as ever . The whole point of having a Gun , centers around its qualities As A Gun . Power , Accuracy , and Control . Hand in hand with the concept of A Gun Should be Comforting , not ( necessarily) Comfortable .

Carrying a " Real Gun " is as valid as ever .

What is relatively recent is the plethora of Subcompact Polymer 9mm's . They * intend * to be the unprecedented sweet spot of effortless to carry , while being reasonably effective .

Do they succeed in being a gamechanger ? I dunno , maybe/ maybe not . But they do come closer than previous . and I say that as a big fan of the legacy options on either side.

Sales numbers * broken down into categories * tell us they are extremely popular . As Which one of those is " best " ? There is no single answer . it's subjective . Which one ( if one) is best for *you * ? I can't ( ot anyone) can't tell you , you have to see for yourself .

I've always said we need a sarcasm font.
That being said, one shouldn't rely on popular gun sales for their CC pistol choice.

That list is updated hourly. Best guess as to why the p365 isn't listed...they don't have any in stock right now and therefor it isn't selling. A guess. Besides availability, current sales would also skew the list. And salesman pressure on those who don't (yet) know better.

Many/most of the pistols listed are at considerably lower price points than the Sig 365 would be. I think that explains a good piece of the why behind the list. Price driven sales, moreso than "best" driven sales.

Don’t know about the marketing angles. Comments here seem reasonable to me while the list certainly does not…. For me it’s been a P365 for nearly 5 years. (all day, every day, everywhere).

Trying to judge a 'good' carry piece from that link is like trying to evaluate what is 'good' food by looking at a list of what sells best at Wal-Mart.

That list is BS, it’s a list of guns they are trying to move and hope that someone that is misinformed helps them move their stale inventory.

All right what about this as gunbroker is unlike Sportman' quite subject to salesman ship as it buyer's want's and the guns are not the cheapest on the market.

AND THIS IS NOT ADVICE, NOR ANYTHING ELSE YOU CHOOSE TO READ INTO IT THAY WAS NOT EXPLICITLY STATED!

You still have no idea what the experience level of the buyers is, if they had anything to compare with prior to purchase, nor their post-purchase 'happiness' level. Sales numbers do not equal goodness.

I would rather hear from even one person who bought 2 or 3 different firearms before they figured out what worked for them. I may not have the same criteria, but unlike raw sales numbers it is useful information.

That list and the other one you posted in the OP are akin to HRO listing what radios they sold the most of and Baofeng being at the top because they didn't have any ICOM, Kenwood, or Yeasu radios left and saying that Baofengs are the best radio for communications because they sold the most of them.

How is that for a comment you can understand?

Looking forward to your thoughts on the CSX. It's high on my list of possible purchases.

I finally got my CSX to the range to try it out and compare it to my Kimber Micro 9.

I used Remington UMC generic 115 grain FMJ in both pistols. The CSX had absolutely no issues at all but the sights weren't regulated to point of aim...not off by much at seven yards. I intend to add tritium night sights to it...only XS-Sights makes any for it right now so I might wait to see what else might come on the market. Its handling qualities were just fine...recoil was perfectly controllable. As of right now if I could want any real changes...it would be to improve the trigger...make it more crisp. It feels slightly spongy but that seems to be the norm for the CSX from what I understand.

The Micro 9 shot comparably...but I had one failure to feed...never happened before and the gun has at least several hundred rounds put through it before. Whether that was shooter induced...ammunition or magazine related I can't say yet.

I think either pistol would make a fine concealed carry piece...though until I run more rounds through the Micro 9 to feel it won't malfunction again I wouldn't carry it. Between the two...as of right now...I would say the CSX gets the overall nod...perfect operation...12+1 round capacity...a trigger action that can be lived with if not perfect...more than acceptable accuracy for a concealed carry piece. But the Kimber is a fine pistol a well.

Note to self...next time take a magazine loader with you...the mag springs are strong and the feed lips are sharp!

    CSX target at seven yards...

Very hard to believe a Thunder .380 is the top choice. Don’t get me wrong, they do go bang reliably, I had one years ago, but the sights are less than ideal and it’s a large profile handgun with limited capacity. Sold mine off over 10yrs ago and didn’t regret at all.
