Mossy Oak Camo Vinyl Wrap Kit

Spent some time with my Browning Gold Hunter 3-1/2" 12 gauge and a Mossy Oak Grass Blades Camo Wrap Kit....

Started with......


Finished Product.....


......wasn't too bad to do. A couple of small wrinkles I probably could have smoothed out, but it is a waterfowling piece.....

If you want perfection, they can be tricky.

If you want to camo your waterfowling piece, I had a little over an hour in that gun.

Using a hair dryer to heat the vinyl and keeping a sharp blade in the exacto knife makes the application pretty straight forward.

I used a similar wrap on my truck, unfortunately I can't figure out how to put the pic on here. I too learned the heat gun is your friend

Saw this post and figured I would give it a shot on my 870 Supermag turkey gun. Just did the receiver and barrel as my stocks were already Mossy Oak Break Up. Not a perfect match but turned out pretty good. Nice stuff and very inexpensive. Here is a before and after picture.

Edit: Did the slug barrel too.

Looks great. Not having to do the stock/forearm takes most of the tedious work out of the job. The pistol grip on the stock was where I had the most issues.

A hunting buddy liked mine so much, he bought the kit and I did his older kinda beat up 870 Express. Yes the stock around the pistol grip is a bit tricky.

How durable are these? Do they stay put pretty well or do they start to look ratty after a bit of use?

Only time will tell. Not sure how it would hold up if you are dragging your gun across a rusty barbed wire fence. Seems pretty durable when applied as directed using a heat gun. The nice thing is you can patch it with the left over material. It can also be removed by applying heat and peels off with no residue.

Re-wrapped my 870 Super Mag that is now pretty much a dedicated turkey gun in Mossy Oak Bottomland.
