The HOT lanes here are free for HOV. Motorcycles are automagically HOV. This includes the HOT lanes on 95 and 495. I have not paid one penny to ride on these since they started the program. Motorcycles are exempt. I'm not going to complain

Hell yeah! Now I have another option Thanks for clueing me in!

I already knew HOV in Maryland allowed m/c for free... I use that one all the time when I actually get to ride into work. Saves 20 mins each way.

Riding from Hoodbridge to Tyson's Corner was a dream versus driving thanks to the HOT lanes. I wouldn't have taken the job if I couldn't ride there.
