MSI and Engage Armament and others have challenged the County's Ghost Gun law in Court. The undersigned represents all the plaintiffs. Here is our latest filing. A labor of love (about 40 hours of attorney time worth of love).

37 pages I took a 10k view, I see they mention that a county must not create laws that deviate from the state. OK so ? MD still planning to BAN ghost guns aren't they? Am I on the wrong playing field

That's IF the bill passes remediation AND doesn't get VETOED.

The upcoming ban also has a supposed method of compliance. The version that just passed the Senate Judiciary committee has even more room for compliance. Therefore the outright ban is still superceding state law.

    That's my understanding.

The county’s bill goes further than state law on homemade guns and parts AND also attempts to regulate carry in a manner not permitted under state law.

Even if the state passes HB425/SB387, the county has problems.

I was at Engage yesterday and if I had known about this challenge, I would have thanked them in person. Thank you MSI and Engage.

    Anyone
know if this case has been assigned to a Judge?
