New to the area and wanted to get anyone's thoughts on Monocacy for turkey hunting. Had success there with deer this year, curious to know if that area holds turkeys, is a spot you would recommend or your experiences turkey hunting there? Trying to narrow down an area for scouting, and any other places you would recommend in the Frederick/MOCO area if you think I should pass on Monocacy?

    Appreciate your responses

Turkeys are pretty thin through this part of the state. That said, you'll have about as much luck there as you would anywhere else in the Piedmont counties.

I've actually gotten on turkey in there but was never able to close the deal. It's worth a try if you go during the week.
