At Chantilly l scored a genuine Milt Sparks Summer Special, with sweat guard , and split belt loops . ( For Sig P220/ P226 , for use with my P225 .)

Sweet. I have both a Versa Max 2 and a 55BN. They are my EDC depending what I’m wearing. Both in Cordovan. I waited 8 months on each. Worth the wait for me

IMHO you can’t beat leather

That's a Summer Special 2. My favorite IWB holster.

How do I know it's a SS 2, the belt loops aren't independent.

I will differ over SS vs SS 2 .
I know Bruce Nelson himself used single strap , and Sparks had option between single or double
I guess a split strap must be a clue for SS 2 .

But the quality , workmanship , the leather , and the fitting put this in a whole different category than every other IWB I've ever handled in real life .

I really like this , and I'm a 99% IWB hater .
