Yup. That Chicago stat really is staggering. Wayne should be all over the airwaves with that until the rest of the media picks it up and it sinks in. It's amazing that the NRA has to be the one to publicize that.

I'm a northern Illinois native and was also floored to hear about the Windy City's dead last ranking. I suggest that the NRA take out some ads in Chicago and the Chicagoland area saying something like: "Chicago has some of the nation's toughest gun laws, yet is the worst city when it comes to enforcement. Don't you think we should enforce the tough laws we already have, rather than pass new laws to ignore?"
