MD Bear Hunting Survey

So last night DNR posted on their Facebook page that they were going to be conducting a public survey of opinions on bear hunting. Sure seems to me like they are laying groundwork for closing the season. They say it's part of a larger plan to examine management, but they don't state what that is.

Here is the post. They have been getting a ton of anti comments on their pages regarding bear hunting, and HSUS has been organizing to end bear hunting here.

I’m not interested in bear hunting for myself, ate bear once. I don’t remember it as favorable. I am in favor of hunting them as a means to control numbers. Let’s keep them confined to the western counties.
