So I think im completly sold on the Mcree fixed precision stock. I was able to snap in behind one yesterday at a shop and I think its the best bang for the buck out there. Its already set up for box mags, you dont have to bed it, just swap your rifle over to it and its good to go.

    Any inputs or anything?

Only thing that im not too sure about is im thinking about going with the fixed stock, I just cant see using a folder that will shoot long distance.

Have a MCree hunter (predates the current G5 series) on a 7005R 300 WM.

Works great and very adjustable. The benefit of the folding stock is twofold: 1 if you have a longer barrel it can ride in a smaller case; 2 makes cleaning MUCH easier when you can rotate the stock to the side, pull the bolt and get the cleaning rod right up to the receiver.

Best bang for the buck chassis there is (IMHO).

I have two rifles in McRee stocks and both are folders. As LeadPumper said it makes it much easier when cleaning. On my .06 if I didn't have a folder I would have to take off the cheek rest pack to get the bolt out.
