I recently acquired this rifle. It is beautiful. The stock is well grained and heavy in a classic target stock format with a Monte Carlo butt. It has a heavy barrel with a military rear iron sight and a ramp. (The front leaf is missing. I am loooking for one) It does not appear that old except that research shows it was probably made in the early 1930's. Any help identifying it further would be helpful. The S/N is 171053 and it is marked Mauser Werke A.G. Obendorf r.N.
