I politely (this time) deflected his request for ID for the "leader" of the group by telling him that we were all here separately together. We then had a stare off and he finally left.

Had a good conversation with one of the Unionettes who attended the rally in Liar's Mall. I told her what SB1 was all about and she went all hell no. Said that she has a year before she can get her carry permit and can't wait to do so.

Also interacted with a union MILF who didn't want her face on camera who had a crazy ex husband and was also appalled at SB1.

Turning the tables on that classic American story of the Great White Whale: our crew dealt with MCP Officer Moby Dick and his own obsessive pursuit in search of our Captain Ahab: “Let’s see some ID.”

Our crew harpooned that idea.

The MCP presence around the Patriot Funnel of Freedom is always of interest; circumstances are generally polite, even friendly with those who respect our rights, but there are still lots of flashing police vehicle emergency lights and patrol vehicles parked in front of us.

With thanks to you Some Guy for your intense focus and leadership in identifying the endless tyrannical, unconstitutional bugs embedded deliberately in this bill.

And thanks to all who have participated in raising awareness about what these legistraitors intend: making the law-abiding and peaceable unwelcome everywhere in the state, as well as rendering us defenseless in public in a state they make only more chaotic and dangerous.

So that’s where we are today: mentally disordered hoplophobics, egged on by the unicorns and rainbows crowd, combining with the hopelessly dreamy utopians, legislating their absurdly evil fantasies and childlike feelings into law.

We stand for freedom and our rights.

We appreciate all of the law enforcement officers who work to keep us and the public around us safe, and who, in their extensive knowledge of the law, also protect and defend our Constitutional rights in front of the Statehouse.
