Magazine question

I understand the language as far as not being able to buy/transfer/sell with the state of MD.
I have been told I can purchase a magazine in VA and transport it back in.
Is there any paperwork I would need to carry to prove the location of purchase when transporting with HQL and DCL
And how about online purchases of high cap magazines?
If site is willing to ship am I in the clear to follow through with order?
I do know I can order to a VA shop and pick up there, just curious about shipped to my door if site is willing.

No paperwork, and HQL/DCL have nothing to do with magazines.

Some places will ship to legal states (i.e. a friend or PO/UPS Store Box in PA) with MD "bill-to's".

You cannot get any STD mags shipped to your MD address.

Im just curious about (hopefully doesn’t happen) any police contact, proper storage in vehicle while transporting.

You can transport loaded magazines. Just not IN the gun. Keep firearms in the trunk or where they are not readily accessible.

Are there guns in the car?
There are 2 correct answers no matter what:
1. There is nothing illegal in the car
2. I don’t answer questions.

1. We already have numerous threads on this site where it has been discussed ad nauseum
2. The law for what it isn't terribly difficult to deduce or understand

It basically boils down to 4 basic truths:

1. The first rule of 10+ round magazine club is YOU DO NOT TALK about 10+ round magazine club
2. 10+ round mags are legal to possess in Maryland
3. 10+ round mags are illegal to obtain in Maryland in any way
4. The law is unenforceable without major violations of the 4th Amendment

Sometimes (almost always for me) search on here doesn't work. So if you try searching for an answer and get the BS "oops" then don't worry about posting something that you can assume has already been asked. You can PM me (noob) and invite yourself to PM others and ask that way if you prefer. You will find some people are willing to help you build an entire gun from the floor up, they are that helpful. You need 50 comments to get your muzzle taken off so I encourage you to try threads when you can.

Apologize for nothing.
As said search isn’t always perfect and people that think threads are redundant can stay off the new thread. Also what was a given one day can change so nothing wrong with a refresh. The laws seem ignorant because they usually are. People attempt to apply common sense to them to help understand the law but that is futile.

FWIW, a search on thread titles using the terms "magazine capacity" would have yielded every answer they were looking for. I know. I checked.

A quick Google search would have also yielded very similar and complete results.
