The m&p 2.0 has a redesigned flat trigger. I've tried to look online but I don't see if you can send it in for them to change it for you or if you can buy it separately does anyone know? Is this something you can send in so they can make the changes? Or do previous owners just get shafted

No idea, I usually end up putting Apex triggers in my M&Ps.
My last one I put an Apex flat trigger in but not sure if I like it better than the curved or not.

I tried the new trigger and other than being flat I didn't find any difference. Same take up and approximate weight. I really don't mind my old MP 2.0 trigger, much better than the 1.0 version, not sure it's worth an upgrade IMHO.

I saw that trigger yesterday while looking online. I don't know I just want factory. I don't want to lighten it I just don't like that jointed trigger I can't get used to it

You can buy the Apex Polymer Flat Trigger and use the Duty Package Springs to maintain Pull Weight while giving Flat Shoe and less take up. For $110, this is about the best you can do.

That sounds good why this particular polymer one because of the price? Is the duty spring packet separate or something I have to choose during purchase

From what I'm reading it all comes together with the trigger correct?

The jointed trigger on the 1st gen or 1.0 or whatever was hot garbage. Went Apex tactical with glock style trigger safety.

Yes the Polymer is their value model and comes with all springs. Look at the CHART it shows the different configurations that can be achieved.

I'm going to order this trigger I think ty. There was an Apex 2.0 that I heard about the other day but I don't know there's a version of that like this one. Ty

I don't get it. If gun trigger is so bad, why don't gun manufactures put a decent one in the first time? I know some of us prefer the finer things in life but if I pull any trigger the pistol should work, right?

standardization. Many semi-auto pistols are built for LEO/MIL that have pull weight requirement. Mass producing 2 different types could cause issues and cut down on efficiency.

For some reason I can't view the chart, every time I go to the site there's a loading swirl on the picture. I'm guessing that chart or something like it will come with the instructions?

I have NOT used this kit but I saw this on my SW Forum, so I cannot speak from experience but I seems like a well thought out design.

Caveat being, I havent looked yet but can these be put in the 1.0? I have the M&P 9 and M&P 45, no need to buy new guns (other than the prodigy 1911DS lol
