Now that I have your attention, I'm looking for a interceptor latch stud . For a Remington 1187 / 1100. I have tried all the suppliers I know of but no luck. Let me know if theres a stash out there.
    Thanks

It is getting very hard to find Remington parts these days. I had a hard time finding a firing pin for an 870 recently. Have you tried Ebay and Gunbroker? People sell parts on there all the time.

Also, you can try calling places that specialize in shotgun work. I have had good luck calling gun shops around the country although you may have to pay a premium.

OP, PM coming your way …

    ^This^

It has been more than a year now but, I found multiple parts for a 20 ga “Standard” frame 1100 (20 ga built on a 12 ga receiver) that Remington stopped making parts for - in 1974 - on eBay from multiple sellers.

One of those parts was the interceptor latch and the fellow with the most parts was on the West Coast. Good parts inventory but, lacking in commo skills and timeliness …

Kudos to any armorers and / or collectors who saw what was coming and stocked up on Big Green parts. I was completely and uncharacteristically asleep at the switch for this one.

ETA and for any who may own (keee-rist, who does not?!) any Remington shotguns:

If you find a stash, I would order / buy any other parts the seller has and which you can conceivably foresee ever needing at same time - things like mag spring retainers (often lost a lot!), Mag tube caps, et., etc.

Remington parts are gonna be worth gold in our lifetime - when you consider the MILLIONS of 1100’s and 870’s that are in circulation - the fact that ZERO old, true OEM parts are no longer being made is the ultimate in a coming supply vs demand!
