Does anywhere local do slide milling for optics?
No. I ended up getting a gun that already came with an optic cut.So did you find a shop down here in Southern MD, or close?
And for the rest of us??For anyone not in a giant hurry, I've had several slides milled by these guys. I've gotten the slide back in as little as two weeks and as long as just under 30 days. They do great work and have good CS.

Co-sign. Jagerwerks did a great job on a P320 Full-size slide optics cut for me last year. Lead time then was 14 weeks, but it was quality work and worth the wait.Try jagerwerks. Have had my Sig P365 and Sig P320 done by them. Turn around isn’t super fast but great work.
And for the rest of us??

Lol! My choice for Glocks was born out of the P80s and the like, coupled with the long-standing decision to go HQL-less.I was baiting you for a "fan boy" response,, I am let down

Waking this old thread.Hey Marc, We provide this service at our shop in Huntingtown! We also offer barrel threading in addition to an assortment of machining services.
I presume you have a flush cut barrel? I have not heard of anyone ever adding length to a barrel, so definitely not something I would be willing to try unfortunately. Some .22 models nowadays have smaller internal threads that recess into the slide and then an adapter to sit outside of the slide, the Sig P322 for one.Waking this old thread.
I have a Sig P226 .22 barrel. With current fast turnaround by that fed agency, I'd love to pick up a suppressor for it. But threaded barrels in .22 from Sig were discontinued. Can you add the length necessary and thread a pistol barrel? Is it cost effective?
