Make no mistake, These people won't stop until they get a confiscation law.

They're not stupid and they know a ban won't mean much without confiscation. They also know they have to take small steps. A ban is only the beginning. Inch by inch, they'll go for more and more until they get what they want. It's the slippery slope/camel's nose under the tent/foot in the door, whatever you want to call it. It has to be stopped HERE.

This was posted somewhere around here months ago.

The proposals in the document are mostly unconstitutional and would have a hard time flying in the most restrictive of regimes without fierce legal challenges and potential civil unrest.
