    From the article:

Maryland: Non-toxic shot is required for hunting rail and snipe.

WTH is rail and snipe? It seems to be in a lot of the states.

I remember taking people snipe hunting as a kid. They were pissed when they found out there were no snipe when we picked them up the next morning. Then they couldnt wait to get the next guy

This isnt about the envirnment. Its another cut in the death by 1,000 cuts. This will make firearms a little more expensive to use a little here a little there before you know it most people are priced out.
Just like this going door to door collecting FRT Triggers. Its a practice run to see if they can get away with a door to door gun confiscation

Before everyone gets crazy, if you read that list, it’s like 95% about shot related to hunting. Not bullets for hunting or target use. Looks like CA is an outright ban on lead bullets and Iowa in certain areas for hunting. Some others recommend non toxic bullets for hunting.

Not toxic shot for hunting fowl has been a federal thing for quite some time I thought.

I believe that waterfowl was the only instance where the lead actually killed the bird. As far as I recall, enough were killed to be a concern so the law was changed to using steel shot.

Eagles have died from eating a varmint or carcass of something that contained lead that they digested. In the eagle case, it didn't happen enough to support a federal ban on lead but the libs are still trying.

From what I understand, lead shot was ban for waterfowl because it harmful to the waterfowl, but it was/is to the birds of prey, and vultures that eat the carcasses.

The gun grabbers say they are fine with us keeping our muskets, but then they want to outlaw the lead round balls they use.
    Think about that a minute.
