I am wondering if you gentlemen can point me in the right direction here.
A friend whose father is demented is attempting to move his father’s collection of firearms from New Mexico to Maryland. From a brief conversation, it doesn’t sound like there are any prohibited firearms.
My friend’s dad is no longer competent and my friend has power of attorney.
I have Britt Stouffer’s name and phone number but have never dealt with her.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?

Britt should be able to help you. She is good people. She did my trust.
You may run into issue being its out of state, but it is at least worth a call.
Wait, are these NFA? If, not why bother with a trust?
Ship them to your FFL and transfer them. Not need for a trust.

Sundaze... I just contacted her office to set up a trust myself. Waiting to hear back.

No nfa or other Md. prohibited firearms just do a ffl transfer to you in Md.
Seems pretty simple but I'm not sure how a power of attorney works in this situation.
