I could not imagine shooting my AR indoors w/o ears...

'It's not pleasant' is a slight understatement - trust me. It'll definitely ring your bell some, and that was a 16" - I shudder to think of an SBR going off indoors, ears would probably bleed...

I also have very sensitive hearing, so that didn't help me in the least.

It went thru the floor into the basement, thru the hardwood, the joist, missed the plumbing and the hot water heater - penetrated the cinder-block foundation, but didn't exit it.

Since then I always double check my primer's seated depth on my reloads, rookie mistake that nearly cost me a fair amount of money.

Kriss V is awesome. If your ever in the neighborhood around Harford County I'll let you shoot her. It's a blast to shoot and most of my calibers are .45 also. Nothing like wielding 30 rounds of .45 with very little recoil. :)

Would love to have a Kriss. Go for it! sbr it and get a can. :party29:

consolidating huh? may I suggest a select fire factory Mac 10 / 45
It'd be interesting to compare the two for controllability. I got to play with the latter a while back and I don't recall it being a precision tool :lol2: Or, with it, I certainly wasn't.

Incorrect, you can buy a select fire tommy gun they just cost around $15,000. You could get a select fire Mac10 in .45 for around $3500-4000. Much easier to shoot than a pistol.

I was talking about Kriss does not sell the select fire to the public.

I don't have one but I have shot a Beretta CX4 and I enjoyed it. It's a bit weird looking for me, but it shot like a dream.

EDIT: It had a Sierra trigger job, not the stock trigger.

Kriss V is definitely a novelty piece and not for everyone. If you enjoy the SMG type platform in a pistol caliber, the Kriss definitely is a worthy choice. Good luck on your purchase.

Just a suggestion from left field, but if you want one caliber that chambers in a pistol and a carbine, why not 5.7mm? It doesn't over-penetrate like a full power rifle round, the ammo's relatively low weight, it's a little more expensive than .45, but not too much and the PS90 is good out to 200 meters. Seems like a decent compromise.

I love the 5.7 round, the only problem is not everyone sells it.

edit- I take that back im going to seriously take a good look at the 5.7
